Charm I$61 – $440
This abstract piece in neutral colors and minimal detail recalls the stillness found between air and water, a glassy surface reflecting the silence of a clear sky waiting as if expectant for the trees themselves to speak. The neutral tones and broad spaces create a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere welcoming the thoughts that only come in a moment of rest.
Decor tips: A great piece for the relaxing simplicity of minimal, modern, or even Asian-inspired interiors. Neutral palettes of charcoal and creams can accent furnishings and decor to come together as a complete and sophisticated space. Decorate a living room or empty hallway to invite a sense of creativity and sublime solace into the home, office, or library.
Under Controlby María Peña$131 – $509
Inspired by the childhood stories of the artist’s friend from Afghanistan, this piece is part of the project “When I Was Young”. The accompanying text to this work recounts a symbolic longing for the summer, a change to move towards brighter times without cold and hardship. In Afghanistan, the problem may linger in the generational gap of thinking about change and aggression. With a history of invasions and foreigners, the present challenges provoke a new perspective and discussion of how to shape the future.
Decor tips: With its meaningful symbolism, this piece inspires new interpretation and discussion ready to be in public spaces such as a lobby or hallway. The mixture of media delights in an unusual and unique style able to match modern urban interiors or industrial spaces.
