Alebrijes are fantastic beings made of cardboard or wood from the Central Valleys of Oaxaca, Mexico. Pedro Linares was the first to create these animals, he saw them in the 1930s as hallucinations caused by a disease. Once recovered, he decided to replicate their eerie yet fascinating forms. With its medley of textures and colors, this wild and unique piece fits into boho and eclectic design schemes- perfect to exhibit a  colorful variety of interesting pieces. Use this unique piece of decor to add a fun and playful vibe to the space, and refocus the energy for action and excitement.

Coline Raposa | Francia

Coline Raposa’s art is a testimony of a quest to interrogate our poisonous humanity. With beautiful vibrancy against black backgrounds, these works draw beasts and creatures out from the darkness and into vibrant detail, beauty amongst the shadows.
