Roser JB has been interested in painting from a very young age and despite her alternate career path and studies in Art History, has cultivated a passion and practice with Fine Art. Inspiration from abstract expressionism themes lead to experimentation in color and texture in mixed media or on watercolor paper- an emotion conveyed in every brushstroke. Roser’s work is characterized by a chromatic variety picking colors from Venetian, English, German, and Russian romantic impressionism and abstraction. The original idea diverges to create compositions in a totally different way, discovering a line, stain, or shape that becomes a key focus. Roser JB’s goal is to convey to the viewer the exclusive beauty of colors, their thousand possibilities of combination that express subtle sensations.
