Prost, Mondrian! 21f6

Prost, Mondrian! 21f6

Prost, Mondrian! 21f6 is a pixilated abstraction of a tiny part of another image (Central Park Pond 4a). It is an homage to the artist Mondrian, reminiscent of his very famous Broadway Boogie Woogie. This version evokes some feelings and motifs of the Navajo art of the American Southwest as well as the Mohave and Sonoran deserts themselves. Sophistication and whimsy are in perfect balance making this a stylish piece to complete the geometric and clean feel of contemporary spaces. Great for the dwelling spaces of a home, let this piece set the scene for conversation and interest.

Ken Lerner | United States

Ken Lerner has been interested in photography from an early age while being raised by another renowned photographer. Though his studies and career experiences have varied, its photography that he returns to putting aside his scientific studies to experiment in multiple exposure work up unti lthe mid 90s, and later leaving a career in financial sales to grow his experience and passion. His work continues to be an abstract and internal perspective of a moment, recurring fascinations with reflective surfaces and shapes both natural or man-made. The resultant textures and forms reveal the beauty of nature and the variance in subjective interpretations of the viewers, more of a comment on nature rather than an enhancement.
