Venice Passion

Venice Passion

“In 1970, I followed HMS Forth to visit Venice, she deserves to be called the city of art and culture. Venice is full of all kinds of beautiful bridges, each of which has its history. The one shown here is the famous “Bridge of Sighs”. In ancient times, such a beautiful bridge turned out to be the only path  to transport prisoners, bringing me infinite sighs!”

John Wong | Honk Kong

John Wong (Honk Kong, 1951), defines himself as a great “Ink Maniac”. His personal experiences and his great passion for the sea are the main source of inspiration for his creations. He mainly uses what he calls “New Ink”, a new way of joining traditional Chinese ink techniques and contemporary art.

He has a characteristic personal style that stands out for the firmness and solidity of his paintings, which has led him to have a wide recognition within the world of contemporary art and collecting.
