This surreal original painting recalls an expressionist aesthetic mixing comical shapes and symbols with geometric patterns, every element joining together in a distortion of reality. The illustrative style is complemented by saturated reds and greens, almost jumping out of a fantastical story. One can imagine the narrative story of this image, two serene profiles presenting a balance that secretly conceals a third character peeking out overtop their heads; a trickster or a hero? This intriguing print is perfect for quirky spaces that join that sense of fun with the great excitement of the unknown such as a midnight bar or an antique study.
