Inspired by the labyrinthine designs created by Zulu boys memorized and drawn in the sand as a rite of passage into adulthood. The mixed media style uses wire, plaster, cement, paper pulp, resin, pigments, and sand to create a new form with an archaic quality as if being discovered out of the earth itself, but with an otherworldly brightness. The vessel-like structure draws one in to examine and be mesmerized but the story it holds.

Decor Tips: Hang this original piece as a wall decoration to match the natural atmosphere of kinfolk and minimal interiors. Its three-dimensionality can play with natural light and foliage in a unique and enveloping sense of tranquility. Perfect for a living room or foyer as a statement to draw attention and spark conversation.
