Paul Arts | Netherlands
Paul was born and raised in the Netherlands but since has lived in Germany and now finds himself in Spain. Even while working as a physician for 35 years, he lived up to his original last name being more and more interested in the arts. In 2018 he began painting professionally, initially realistic portraits but slowly more and more abstract. Recently Paul switched to painting with purely natural pigments. He searches for pigments and materials, some from his own food forest, for linseed oil, egg yolk, gum arabic, and charcoal to create rich natural colors.
