Ntuli’s work combines artistic research, sculpture, video installation and performative practices, always addressing different audiences and seeking to make visible gaps, ruptures, silences, pauses and remnants of history. His work is concerned with fictional geographies, simulations, archives and representations.
He explores these themes through the collision of documentation and fiction in collages, performances and video installations, questioning the format of objective media in the representation of historical events and situations within a geopolitical imagination.
From February 9 to April 29, Reku Art Gallery (Calle Valverde 30, Bajo 2, Madrid) presents the exhibition “Crossroads, a look at emerging art in Africa” curated by Semiramis González.
