  This stunning photo captures the flora and fauna of the wild. A silhouette shot of lions mating at sunrise. The haze of the mornings lingers over the scene as the light begins to filter onto the savanna plains. The rare moment highlights the animal instinct captured in the powerful bodies of the two lions. Immediately after mating, the female snarls and lashes out at the male, who jumps back growling. Within a few minutes courtship is resumed.

  Taken on the outskirts of Rajaji Tiger Reserve, Uttarakhand, “One day I came to this place, it was totally unexpected to see those amazing morning sun rays breaking through the trees in the foothills of the Himalayas, I was stunned. I decided to wait in this place until the moment the rays were there, as I knew there were many deer around…” Two deer are silhouetted in the dramatic golden hours of dawn. This shot was the result of Trikansh’s experienced perspective, compositional visualization and unwavering patience and perseverance for animal activity. The result is magical.
